Dylan's First Official Day of Kinder!

Dylan had his first official day of Kindergarten today!!! He said he loves his teacher Miss Goss and if the flag is red you can't play on the play structure!!! Those were his important details of the day!! Tom took him to school and said he was definately a little teary...He was so excited to get to wear his new cool Transformers backpack with all his new school supplies! He met lots of new friends but I could tell he was missing his old classmates at the Montessori school because he played a joke on me and told me Vivian was in his class (he used to say he was going to marry Vivian).

On Monday Dylan finally got to go fishing with Grandma Allison and she caught the biggest fish!

Well I just dropped Dylan off for his first day of Kindergarten...well actually it's only 2 days of Kinder academy to introduce the kids to the classroom but since I am a teacher and will miss his official first day I treated it like the real first day...and yes...I cried like a baby!!!!

A fabulous summer!!!

Trying the whole blogging thing.....

What a wonderful summer we have had!!! A trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, Multiple beach trips, family gatherings, pool parties and so much more!

I would say it's been the best summer yet!

Dylan is gearing up for Kinder and so excited to get to ride a school bus! I'm getting a little sad at this right of passage...This new beginning for him and the end of something for me that I can't quite put my finger on. My little man is getting so big...soon he will be off to college!!!! LOL

Hannah has changed so much over the summer! She is signing more then she is talking but we are able to understand what she wants. She is beginning to say more words too! She says Nana, mama, dada, go, ball, baa, woof, moo, and many other Hannish words!
She loves to jump and dance too! Dylan and her made up their own chase game, they run around the house in a circle chasing each other and when DYlan is not here Hannah holds a snack in her hand and gets Tucker to chase her around! It's hilarious!

The pool has been a big hit this year too. We have lived in it when we've been here and both kids have developed the Foster swim fin!

Our garden produced some wonderful veggies that we've been eating all summer s well! Tom installed 2 more raised beds so next year we will have all the veggies we need! I can't wait!

Two more weeks of vacation then it's back to work...YUCK! I'm not ready!
